Welcome to Beer and Burpees! We are not simply a group workout, not quite a bar league, far beyond the neighborhood running group, Beer and Burpees is a sport and social group for the masses. We are your excuse to use fitness to have fun, stay active and meet friends. It doesn’t matter if you can run a marathon, walk a block or are just really good at hanging out. Come join us and meet new people in the area and take a more low key, entertaining approach to fitness. We offer powerhouse workouts that are also fun and social. We then all head straight over to The Piggery where you can socialize with your new fitness comrades. Our goal is to make you forget that you’re actually working out and eliminate any guilt associated with the calories that may be consumed after ;). We are the perfect way to get a workout in after a long day and still have time to meet up with friends new and old! With classes being held in-doors, we meet up once a week all year round. The workouts themselves are quick and fast paced. We use a plyometric based program, meaning a lot of rapid, repeated and explosive body weight movements. We are always switching up the workouts by using different variations of moves to keep your body guessing. This also allows you to keep your heart rate elevated by moving consistently. We know this can sound intense, but this is designed for all fitness levels- beginner and advanced moves are always an option for participants. Just keep in mind, above all we are a SOCIAL, NO PRESSURE, NON COMPETITIVE, GO AT YOUR OWN PACE class-- If the person next to you is doing 10 reps and you’re doing 5, who cares, right?! You are both working and sweating together and that’s what we are after!
